Comments on: Finding Kid Friendly Caches Geocaching Can be Addictive Mon, 25 May 2015 14:52:06 +0000 hourly 1 By: Myside Thu, 21 Apr 2011 19:36:23 +0000 I personally get really nervous with one of my hides in particular: which is temporarily disabled due to flooding. Though the cache is easily accessible for children, the coordinates may be tricky in some situations bringing Geocachers to the edge of a fast flowing river. Two people have fell in so far trying to find this hide, and while very funny, I recently added a “not safe for kids” attribute. I have been torn before setting this attribute as it is on a wonderful trail just paces from a nice family friendly park next to the Mississippi and should generally cause no harm when being even generally safe. Should I say hell with it and remove this attribute and cacher beware? I don’t think I will any time soon.
