Camouflage is defined as a device or stratagem for concealment or deceit. I like those hides that use camouflage so that they can be hidden in plain sight. I have build a cache that I hope will work in that way. In converted an old birdhouse into an illuminated cache hide. I placed a solar powered patio light in the top of the cache. The light only comes on at night. During the day the cache is supposed to look like a birdhouse. I originally had a newer piece of wood supporting the birdhouse but this was a giveaway to more experienced geocachers. I have since used an aged piece of wood to support the cache.
So far the cache has been rated favourably on Rate This Cache.

Love the birdhouse! I also like the ‘hidden in plain sight’ types of caches. I’ve found a few doozies…!
